釜ヶ崎芸術大学② Kama Gei 2

会場には、釜ヶ崎の人々が、ワークショップなどを通じて作り上げた、数々のアート作品が展示されていた。

この大学について、何の情報も与えられずに見たら、どこかの子供が作り上げたもののように見える。

人間の歴史とは、振り返ってみれば、なかったことにする歴史、と言ってもいいかもしれない。

勝者だけが歴史を語り、作り、書き残して、敗者の歴史は、いつのまにか、忘れ去られてきた。

釜ヶ崎では、アートは、美術学校で技法を学んだ人々が、芸術作品を作り上げるという活動ではなく、文字通り普通の人々が、日々の生活の延長として、何かを作り上げていく、そんな活動になっている。
