ルネ・マグリット Rene Magritte

ルネ・マグリットと言えば、空に大きな岩が浮かんでいる、といったシュールな作品で知られるが、このトリエンナーレには、珍しい写真作品が展示された。

そうした写真は、マグリットが絵画の制作のために、家族や友人たちと撮影したもの。

草原にみんなで寝転がっていたり、変な格好をしたりといった、意味不明なコミカルな写真の数々。

身の回りの人々とのそうした協同作業のなかから、マグリットのシュールレアリスムの作品が生まれたのかと思うと、マグリットの作品を見る目が、少し変わった気がする。
