イザ・ゲンツケン 世界受信機 World Receiver by Isa Genzken

1948年、ドイツのバート・オルデスローエというところで生まれた、イザ・ゲンツケンの作品。

イザは、現代の工業製品のデザインを高く評価しており、”すべての彫刻はレディメイドに見えなければならない”という過激な思想を持っている。

この世界受信機、という野心的な作品は、しかしながら、作者の意図とは違って、レディメイドのようには見えない。

コンクリートで作られた作品だが、ラジオには、ゲルマラジオのような、鉱石で受信するラジオもある。
